Newsletter for February 2021

Just a reminder, tuition payment is due by the 7th of each month; put payment (checks or cash) in the outside green mailbox.

Costumes are arriving every day, when your child’s costume arrives, we will email you and give it to your child on the way out of his/her class. Please try costume on immediately. Reminder if your child’s costume needs to be exchanged it will cost $40, so hopefully it fits.

If it snows, and we need to cancel classes, an email will be sent out from Gracie’s Office, it is easier to just send out a mass email to everyone whether it pertains to your child that particular night or not. SO PLEASE CHECK your email, we will make a decision no later than 2:00 p.m. each day. We will try to have a make-up day closer to recital for any/all snow days.

We are open on President’s Day. The only Monday holiday we close is Memorial Day.

The health department is constantly updating protocol to prevent the spread of the virus. Since the lobby is closed, the bathrooms are also closed, and we cannot allow your child to use the bathroom unless it is an emergency, and then each time the bathroom is used, it must be sprayed, with Lysol….so, if your child ages ten and under needs to use the bathroom, we will text you and you will need to come in and take your child to the bathroom and spray the toilet with Lysol as well as spray the door knobs. So, for this reason, we ask, that if your child is age ten years or younger, you will need to wait in the car, and each teacher will need to have your cell number to text you, if your child needs to use the bathroom. Sorry for any inconvenience. We strongly suggest that you have your child use the bathroom before he/she leaves home and they should be able to get through their evening, if they only have one or two classes. Thank you for understanding. The teachers have the phone number that was used on the registration form, and we will assume that is your cell.

CDC recommends that all people 2 years of age and older wear a mask in public settings and when around people who don’t live in their household so therefore we urge anyone over two years old to wear a mask to class. Thank you.

Please remember, if you, any member of your family, and /or the student, does not feel well, please stay home. If your child or any family member tests positive for COVID, please inform us, and quarantine for ten days to 14 days, as per health department procedure. Please quarantine if you travel or go on a weekend trip, for ten days after your return. It is only fair to everyone for all of us to care about each other, and we are relying on each other to be honest and trustworthy right now, to avoid the spread and protect others from getting the virus. Also wear masks outside when you are escorting your child to and from classes. Thank you. If you have any concerns, feel free to email me, This email address is being protected from spambots.
