COSTUME measuring and a quick parent observation is the week of December 10th. Parents come into their child's dance room in the beginning, after a quick peek at their child's routine, we measure and share the costumes, and payment is due. Checks or cash only, make checks payable to Grace Myles or Gracie's Guys and Gals Dance Studio; each class requires a separate payment. Costumes range from $45-$90. Checks deposited January 1st. If you are not at class the week of the 10th, then the week of December 17th you need to make payment for the costume. If you do not size or pay for your child's costume by Dec. 20th, your child's costume will NOT be ordered; and if you order the costume in January, it will cost you $35 over and above the cost of the costume. Also, the parent decides the size of the costume, with the teacher's assistance; if the costume needs to be exchanged it will be the parent's expense to pay the exchange fee of $35 plus pay for shipping the costume back to the costume company. Always size up if in doubt. If your monthly tuition is not up to date, you cannot order a costume. Reminder, monthly tuition is due by the 7th of each month. If your child is absent the first week, or if there is a holiday, or snow day, please make a trip to the studio prior to the 7th and if the studio is closed you can put payment in the outside green mailbox (over by the dumpsters), it has GRACIE and 44150 on the side of the mailbox. Thank you. CHRISTMAS BREAK: December 21-January 1st. Classes resume on January 2nd. We are open for Martin L. King's birthday even though schools and offices may be closed on January 21st. We are open on President's Day in February as well. If St. Mary's County schools close due to inclement weather, we also cancel classes, if schools open late, we have dance classes; if after school activities and school is closed early, we cancel classes. A make up 'time' is scheduled in the spring prior to recital. RECITAL is JUNE 14th and 15th at Patuxent High School, Lusby, MD. The dress rehearsal will be Thursday June 13th at Patuxent High School. "Unique Moments with Lisa" along with "GG's Show Troupe" is planning a PARENT NIGHT OUT on December 21st, this will be an opportunity for the parents to drop off the kids at the studio, and finish last minute Christmas shopping, wrap your gifts, or just enjoy a nice dinner with each other.
