Newsletter for 2025

     Wow, in just three months is our recital.  Please have your child practice their routines so, they will be proficient and confident when they perform!

     Dates for you to remember:

• March 7^th – tuition AND family Recital fee ($125) is due.
• April 29, 30^th and May 1^st – professional pics taken by Classic Photography (a schedule of times will be emailed) No regular classes the week of April 28^th.
• May 22^nd – June’s tuition is due (some people pay both May and June on May 7th).
• May (not sure of date) - Ads for recital book, trophies, flowers and tee shirts will be due.
• June 17^th – Run Through at studio (no costumes).
• June 19^th – Dress Rehearsal (wear costumes) at Patuxent High School.
• June 20-21^st Recitals at Patuxent High School, times TBD.

     I’ll be working on the ‘line up’ and which show(s) your child will be in, during the month of March and will share with you as soon as it is finished.  You will need to look at the line up and get back to me ASAP if your child’s name is spelled wrong and/or if there are any other concerns. 

     Spring Break is April 14-20^th.  We resume classes on Monday April 21^st.

     Each year the show troupe does a fundraiser to help with expenses as they venture to Florida for their finals this year.  The show troupe will be selling RECITAL tee-shirts, Trophies, and flowers.  There will be a form to fill out.  All of this will be forthcoming.  As you order any trophy, flowers, or T-shirt, you will make the check payable to GG Show Troupe.

     Each year, the studio has a hard copy for the RECITAL BOOK.  It is very expensive to print.   My goal is to receive enough personal and business ads to pay for the printing, and then at the recital every family can get one copy of the recital book free!  Please try to help with the expenses of printing by putting in a personal ad, or soliciting businesses, so that we can continue to give out the recital books without charging! An email will be sent shortly on how you can purchase a personal or business ad.  Thanks so much.

     We will try to have a parent observation in April.  In March the teachers are trying to finish routines.
