Newsletter for November 2020

Happy Thanksgiving! The studio will be closed the entire week of November 23rd for Thanksgiving. If you are traveling, please be safe.

REMINDER: Tuition is due no later than November 7th by 8:00 p.m. Put payment cash or check, in the outside green mailbox, over by the dumpsters. It has GRACIE and 44150 on the side of the mailbox. Make sure the payment envelope goes all the way down.

ATTIRE orders are due November 9-12th, with payment. The sting bags would be ideal for the kids to have to put their dance shoes in, it’s not too big, and would be perfect for them to bring into class once the weather starts getting cold.

Reminder everyone should be wearing a mask, even outside, if you are closer than six feet to anyone. Let’s keep the numbers down, we want to stay open! The kids are loving coming to dance, and it takes all of us to remain diligent to conquer the spread of COVID-19.

We will be emailing you a picture of your child’s costume for the recital, with the payment information. Payment for costumes are due the week of December 7th this year. We are asking that the parents measure your own child. We will be emailing you the form to fill out when we send you the picture and price of the costume. Checks will not be cashed until Jan. 1st.

We are hopeful that the recital will be at a school this year, but at this time, we have no information on that. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that things will progress with school openings so that we can make plans after the first of the year.

The teachers and I are brainstorming on how to have parent observation this year, if it will even be possible. We know you are anxious to watch your child’s progress. Stay tuned!

The show troupe is selling butter braids, pies, and cookies for their fundraiser, if you’re interested in purchasing, please inquire.

The teachers and I are also brainstorming on new procedures as the weather gets cold. We must adhere to protocol restrictions and honor the health department’s set of rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by keeping numbers down inside the studio and keeping the studio sanitized. For this reason, please have your child use the bathroom prior to coming to class. It may be best to take your child’s hoodie or coat off prior to them entering the studio, and when you pick them up, you can be there to put their hoodie or coat on them as they exit.

We are all adjusting to this new way of life, for now, and hopefully, as the year progresses, with a vaccine, we will return to a more normal way of life. Thank you all for being patient and understanding! If you have any concerns feel free to email!
