Newsletter for December 2020
I hope everyone had a relaxing Thanksgiving and you are getting ready for the Christmas and Holiday season! The studio will be closed December 21-January 1st for the Christmas/Holiday break and will reopen Monday January 4th.
Tuition is due by the 7th of each month; please put tuition check or cash in the outside green mailbox, has GRACIE on the side, close to the dumpsters.
Costume money is due no later than December 10th. We cannot order your child's costume if your tuition is not up to par, and if you do not pay for the costume by Dec. 10th. Costume money is not refundable.
Costumes arrive anytime between mid-February and mid-April. When the costumes arrive, we will email the class, and the teacher will distribute them. Please try them on your child ASAP so that we can be assured they fit.
Watch the virtual Christmas on the Square on December 12th, from 1-3. The show troupe has filmed a routine, and other routines from previous years may be shared as well. A Holly Jolly Musical which we did a few years ago will also be aired, which is a cute story about a kid who wants it to snow but Heat Maisey has a contract with Santa that states it will be sunny, and the kid convinces Jack Frost to venture on a journey to Holly Jolly Land to get Santa to change his mind. More information will be emailed so you can watch some local delightful talent for Christmas!
A VERY IMORTANT email to read about some changes to the 'schedule of classes' will be sent out by Saturday December 5th, to be implemented the week of December 7th, PLEASE READ it!
Recital is hopefully going to be mid-June. We of course cannot predict anything exact right now with the pandemic and restrictions but hopefully by the spring things will lessen and more control of the virus with the vaccine coming out, will enable us to make decisions on the venue and secure an exact date. Thanks for your faith and patience. We had a recital last year, so I feel confident that we will have one again this year, and our goal is mid-June!
Please have your child practice their routine! The teachers will be video-taping portions of their class the week of Dec. 7th and sharing with you, since we're not allowed to have parent-observation week with the restrictions to limit people inside the studio to 50% capacity. I really miss the interaction with the parents!
