Just another reminder: Family recital fee of $105 is due with March’s tuition by March 7th. This will entitle each family to (hopefully) four tickets for each show that their children are performing in. You will also be emailed recital links for all the shows, and the recital will be live-streamed for anyone not able to attend. Once we are given the green light to have 100% capacity then we can sell whatever tickets we may have left over after distributing the recital tickets to each family, for $5 cash per ticket. More info on when they will go on sale will follow shortly. The recital fee is non-refundable if your child withdraws prior to the recital.

Costumes are coming in, some quicker than others. We are in constant communication with the costume companies, and hopefully most will arrive by mid-April.

The show troupe will be selling recital tee shirts, bouquets of flowers, and trophies, as their fundraiser to help them offset expenses for their finals competition to be held in Cape May this year. The show troupe will be emailing forms for anyone who may be interested in ordering any of these items, which can be picked up at the recital.

Recital: June 17th and 18th at Patuxent High School, in Lusby, MD Dress rehearsal will be Thursday June 16th. Times to be announced. If your child is only taking one 45 minute class per week, he/she will only be in one show. We usually have three recital shows, so that we can try to keep the shows under two hours. We will have a ‘run through rehearsal’ on Tuesday June 14th at St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds. Times to be determined.

Starting May 31st and into June, your child will get two regular classes, a ‘run through’ at the fairgrounds, dress rehearsal, and the recital, so full tuition is expected in June.

Spring break this year will be: April 11th – 15th, the studio will reopen on Monday April 18th, even though St. Mary’s public schools are closed that day. The studio is closed on Memorial Day, May 30th (it’s the only Monday holiday we do close).

We are still asking that kids and staff wear a mask to class during the month of March, even though the school systems are not requiring the kids to wear masks. In April we will reevaluate. There are many reasons for this decision. Thanks for understanding.
