Newsletter for March 2017

The parent observation class is the week of February 27 - March 2nd. Many important announcements will be shared, and will be outlined in this newsletter.

There will now be three recital shows so that we can be sure to accommodate everyone who may want to purchase extra tickets for his or her guests. We've had an increase in student population since last year and with giving each family four tickets per show that their children perform in, there wouldn't be sufficient tickets left to sell to friends and relatives if we kept the recital performances to only two shows. The shows will be Friday June 16th, 6 p.m.; Saturday June 17th, 12 noon, and 5:00 p.m. By having three shows, each show will be shorter then if we only had two shows.

IMPORTANT - the family recital fee of $65 is DUE by MARCH 7th. It is to be a separate payment from tuition; in other words if you write a check, then please write two checks this month, one for tuition, and one for the recital fee. Thank you. Also, reminder that May and June's tuition is due by May 7th. You may pay with one check for both months. This is so we can clear up any bookkeeping and close out the accounts and distribute tickets by the first week of June. We cannot make distribution of tickets if anyone has any outstanding balances due the studio or show troupe. Thank you.

Picture week is the first week of May. There will be a schedule of when your child's class and individual picture will be taken. There is no obligation to buy any pictures but the studio will be given a collage of all the groups so we ask that you bring your child. They will wear their costume and come to the studio for their pictures. There are no regular classes that week, as we set up the entire studio for pictures. We try to schedule everyone on the day and close to the time of his or her classes, but some may need to come on a different day to avoid a long wait period. Thank you for understanding. A schedule will be posted in the lobby and emailed by the first week of April. The company will mail you the pictures within four weeks after pictures are taken.

Recital information and sign up sheets will be in the lobby on a special table by the middle of April. We will try to have the recital line up by the end of April.

Mark your calendars: The run-through of the recital will be on Tuesday June 13th at the Fairgrounds - this is a time when the kids can practice their routines on stage, prior to dress rehearsal. More information to follow.

Father-Daughter pics are being emailed to each family - some have already been emailed, and others should be done soon.

Costumes are arriving; and when your child's costume arrives, the room mom will notify their class so the parents can come in and help the kids try on their costume.
